With the loud man's greeting out of the way, Leo looked up from his book and smiled. He took in the sight of this individual, studying his every move, expression, and demeanor. To some, it appeared as though he simply enjoyed monitoring the slight actions and nuances of others; in reality, Leo's brown eyes, momentarily shining silver, peered into this man's very soul and encapsulated the essence of his energy. The young Paladin passed judgment within seconds.
"Hello," Leo responded, confident and kind. He shuffled in his armor, wincing as it created some unnecessary noise within this house of silence. Leo bowed his head and set the book back on the shelf. "I'm honored to meet you, sir." Leo extended his hand.
"My name is Leonidas Wahrheit and yes, you could say that I have an interest in dragons. You see, I am not from this place...Golarion, is it? My homeland came under attack from a vicious force and my associates and I were unable to halt its advance. Many died in that tragedy..." Leo held his head up despite the overwhelming sadness weighing upon his heart. "The Fiend tossed me into this realm, of which I am not familiar with. I feel as though I have been disconnected from my god, Bahamut, though his presence still resides somewhere within me."
Leo shook his head.
"I had hoped there was more information within this library," he stopped and set his right hand on his forehead, "and I forgot that I was actually looking for something regarding a little mission of mine."

For all the times she prided herself on knowing what was going on with her surroundings, she was quite grateful at that instant that the book was propped against the shelf in front of her. Otherwise, her inner jump at the new voice would have possibly caused it to try to slip from her hands. Her attention had been so focused on the events in the other section that she had failed to pay attention to her own. Outwardly, there was only the slightest of pauses before she turned to face the newcomer, Erian El'ranelen, as he had just introduced himself as.
She smiled and gave a slight nod of her head in polite return. "I appreciate your offer of help with learning the lands here," she replied in an accent that placed her from the country to the west. Her voice too was kept low, knowing to keep it as such due to it being not only a library, but because of the kobold. The noise of the armor from nearby was a good reminder that his attention was likely in that direction anyway. "I'm Nadya Peraina. I'm new to the area and had hoped to learn more about this fine country."

Erian bows slightly again as he says, "Well met, then, Nadya Peraina!"
He sweeps one hand out in an arc toward the outside and continues, "While I have yet to explore the lands myself, I learned as much as possible in the libraries of Absalom before making my way here. A fascinating place, truly, and perhaps one of the most interesting "free lands" of the Inner Sea. To think such a place is held together by common acceptance of basic societal freedoms! A person with the drive and perseverance can do almost anything here. So, what interests do you have? History, politics, cultureā¦perhaps geography or flora and fauna? Erian's exuberance bespeaks a man truly interested in each topic.

Nadya smiled at the interest in the topic of the River Kingdoms. "Freedom will be a nice change," she remarked at first before answering his question. "I suppose the question is what I'm not interested in. Though, history, and culture are certainly high on that list. The people always make the place."
