As a close personal Friend to Frostrazor in real life who has gamed with him on the table-top and in the ether with MMO's, I am ecstatic to see Frostrazor has come aboard! Welcome my friend! Frostrazor is one of the most energetic, creative and intelligent persons I have ever met and his passion for playing RPG's know no bounds. As someone who's witnessed his role-playing firsthand let me say that you guys are in for a treat! Frostrazor is a lot of fun, and his dedication to a cause or an in-game society are staggering. He is a wonderful and welcome addition to the Keepers.
Welcome my brother!! Let the mead and ale flow!

So, what's the official stance when it comes to Rings? Do we have to pick one, or can we be involved in multiple Rings depending on what direction we want to go for our character? Are we to have a main Ring and have several others we can dabble in, or can we be something like a Nomad and belong to many if it suits us?

doomcrow: I know there is still discussion going on in several different locations about this topic as well as exactly what a Warden and a Keeper are. If you take a look at the Initiate board, there was a proposal of having people write up what they see and present it to the group for a vote so we can start finalizing things.

I personally am a Warden of Crystal and a Keeper of Light and Wood. Because that is what suits me and the areas I feel I can do the most good with my play style.
The intent is kind of like ones Ring being their job, but I think it is really what you make of it.
I would recommend you pick a primary and if there are others you really want to be part of join them too.

I believe the thought so far is that you will be a Warden in one and can be a Keeper in one (or more) if that suits you. For me, I'd likely be a Warden of Shadow and a Keeper in Gold. There is talk of the potential of being a Warden in more than one, but it hasn't been entirely hammered down yet.

I heard Mead and Ale! More seriously, yes, the discussion on initiates/actual importance of Keeper vs Warden is still being discussed - the only important thing agreed upon so far is that Wardens get direct votes in elections, Keepers get a voice and most lesser events they have voting rights.

Put me down for Steel for now; I'll worry about supporting circles and secondary characters once we get closer to play & the guild has settled a bit on how it's handling multiple hats.

Welcome Shadowmyst and Grendel, and any others I've missed in this thread so far BTW, if I could get my tag modified to list only Earth it would be good, I'm thinking working with Iron will just be a minor (miner?) hobby.
