What the heck is a ling? If a human and a halfling get together and make a half halfling would that humanoid creature be considered a medium or a small creature?

Welcome Huran! And Quarterlings can come in both medium and small. They are really tall for small and really short for medium.

It's non-aggressive when its friendly Huran : A ling is a small fuzzy creature that lives under holes in the ground. They love the sound of ukuleles. (For the non-informed, Huran's my husband)

I love to be heckled and won't consider any heckling aggressive (though I may regret this later)...
@cougar how the heck can a thing live 'under' a hole wouldn't that be 'in' a hole?
@dario wow, I had no idea a 'ling' actually existed thanks for that. Now all halflings get to realize they are really part fish (we won't even get into the mating ritual that spawned that union).
