I had been wanting to start a thread like this so I figured, why not! Come talk about your current D&D, Pathfinder, whatever campaigns that you are in. No spoilers of course for those that are actually doing scripted adventures please . But I like to read about character concepts and so forth and would love to see what you are all up to!

My current character in a PF campaign run by Augustine is a diminutive humanoid with the wings of an eagle and the head of a lion - his race is a sort of force of nature - they exist solely to record history and do not usually get very involved with the making of it. As a diminutive creature (and non-caster), he's effectively useless in direct combat. I'm the only experienced player in the group and my last character (whom this one replaced) ended up being too spotlight-y. So he's been replaced in favor of an advisor/mentor character of a sort of homebrew support class. Essentially, he's a scholar that can buff the party with his knowledge rolls. That campaign looks like it might be heading towards a war effort, which will be fun!

I have no current characters.
My most interesting past character was probably a high Charisma red headed Gnome Paladin. I usually play males but this was a female character with an obsession with fashion who color co-ordinated her armor with her mounts gear and weaponry, shopped a lot even on quests and liked to take the time to do her make-up before battle if possible.
She was much more likely to smite an evil character if they displayed bad fashion sense. She eventually died doing flying ride-by-attacks with a lance (her dog had fly cast by a wizard in the party) on some demonic types and reincarnated as a wood elf.
As a wood elf she befriended a unicorn and bonded to it as a mount. By level 15 when she could cast fly on the unicorn herself as a paladin ability she did ridiculous damage on a lance crit (smite plus full power attack plus fly-by-attack plus shock trooper gave something like 500 damage).
On another note, I had a couple of starter modules for low level characters published for the old 3.5 Living Greyhawk campaign a few years back. I might still have copies kicking around if anyone is interested.

Currently I'm playing in the Way of the Wicked 3rd Party Adventure Path for Pathfinder on Thursdays. I play a Chelaxian Summoner (Broodmaster archetype), Decius Servilius Valgus, who is 6th level. I'm running the Carrion Crown with Group 1 on Friday nights. They are currently 6th level and on Book Two. I have a website on Obsidian Portal for that campaign too: www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/terrible-whisperI'll be starting the Curse of the Crimson Throne Adventure Path online on Tuesday with Group 2, using a combination of Roll20.net and RaidCall. I have an Obsidian Portal site for that campaign: www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/cotct-gschI'm in the planning process for a homebrew Pathfinder Campaign set in Absalom that I'll be starting with Group 3. Next week I'll be joining the start of Rise of the Runelords (Anniversary Edition!) as a player. Not sure what I'll be playing for that just yet.

Taela is my first in the Pathfinder world. She is in a world created by our DM with heavy influence from a card game from our childhood, Magi-Nation. If you have heard of it or played it you have obtained a new level of awesomeness.
He has included a really creepy cult of Gozreh in the campaign that has me really worried about the Pathfinder pantheon that the game will start with.

I've also got a Hellspawn Paladin, and a rogue-gunslinger gestalt on deck for two campaigns starting shortly. I really should be spending more time working on my own system/campaign for my betas, but I've been notoriously spotty with it. =[

Carrion Crown Book 4. That is all I can say without going into spoiler land. But I personally didn't find Gozreh creepy in of himself/herself.

I don't play D&D or Pathfinder anymore. Over the years I've developed a strong distaste for Level based systems. I do however adore the Pathfinder setting and may set out to find a system that I like to play it with, or have one of my friends pressure me into actually playing Pathfinder.
RPG's I'm actually playing though. I'm currently playing Legends of the Wulin, set is mythical China. I'm playing as a Drunk Taosit priest that launches fireballs out of his fists, and I've teamed up with a Ronin Samurai. Our third session will be tomorrow, so I don't have much to tell, but we are currently tracking down a gang of bandits that has been harassing the town of Stone Drunk Village. Our last session ended with us finding the bandits hide out which basically had a whole army there. We defeated the masses with a combined effort of Samurai badassery and a really big fireball from me collapsing the ceiling of a cave on the masses of minor bandits. We expect most of next session to be dominated by us fighting the bandits that actually matter, including the bandit leader.

I love the mythical and ancient Chinese culture... I may have to remember that name and add it to my 'want to do list'.

Hark, could you explain a little bit about the mechanics of that system? You have my rapt interest.

Legend of the Wulin is a very different rpg from anything else I've played but it captures the elements of the Wuxia genre so perfectly. For those that don't know what Wuxia is think Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Hero.
If you are actually interested in the game the only way I know to get it is as a PDF through Drivethru RPG. The Chinese publisher seems to have botched the physical print job

As for me, I am involved in 4 campaigns with two groups, alternating weekends. Group 1-A has my husband as the DM in a Pathfinder rules homebrew setting. We started it shortly after being introduced to Pathfinder and the setting has become a futuristic Golarion after some cataclysmic event. My character is a Lycanthrope Serval named Akilah Swiftfoot. She is a cross-blooded Sorceress with the bloodlines Air and Draconic (silver). She had no idea about the dragon part until she activated a tower that required an air and draconic bloodline sorcerer. The goal of that group currently is to activate all these towers in order to restore balance. She also has one level of rogue due to being inducted into a thieves' guild in one town by being associated with the party's rogue/assassin. My favorite memory with this character is probably when she first learned about her breath weapon. They were captured and being presented a choice by a really strange cleric of Rovagug. They were to drink out of one of the two goblets, but it made her sneeze and she nailed him with quite a bit of cold damage.
Group 1-B: Is a homebrew story line set in present day Golarion. My character, Falita is a Keleshite human from the city of Katapesh. She is a Dervish Dancer Bard Archetype with some Shadowdancer mixed in. My favorite memory was when she and Huran were going back and forth about who had the most kills, and our gunslinger (out of character of course) said "Okay Legolas and Gimli".
Group 2-A: A homebrew world with Pathfinder rules. My character is a twin brother to my husband's character and they started out having no idea about their past. As far as they know, they are orphaned. Turns out that they are likely the missing twin sons of the king of one of the nations that most people in their "world" don't know exist or don't care exists. His name is Shane and he is a Bladebound Magus and Weapon-Master Fighter Gestalt character. My favorite memory so far with him is that in order to get his blade to stop whining at him, he threatens his brother on the blade. His brother had gotten polymorphed into a Pomeranian puppy (Don't underestimate a Puppy Monk) and peed on the sword at one point.
Group 2-B: I am GMing the Carrion Crown Adventure Path and we are currently finishing up Book 5. I made a character for this campaign as a support character as we had one member need to leave after Book 1 (and has since rejoined). She is Zalura Evant, a Varisian Changeling from Ustalav. She is a Witch/Rogue/Harrower with a cat familiar. There are so many memories with this campaign, but there is one thing I can say about Zalura. If I need someone to fail a Will Save versus possession/suggestion/dominate - she's the one I can count on.

Lorhayden. How do you like the Mystic Theurge? It seemed like an interesting class when I played one as a brief adversary to my PCs.
