I personally think stickied to the top of the character submission folder would be a happy place for it.

Any chance that this could become an entire folder of "Visitor Information". Seeing as this thread has been buried to the 2nd page of this folder? With the projected rush of people who hit the "remind me" button that will be coming in the last 48 hours I feel like we should be prepared for even more guest viewers. Being number 4 is already getting us a lot of traffic. We've also continued to keep our thread on the front page of the regular forums which is good, but if they did come here it would be nice to have a easily marked place that we keep clean of tangents. I was just going to make it myself, but I don't have the power to make a new folder. Good idea

I could see it as a sticky in character submission.

Nymerias I'll get on the new board as soon as I get home.
Erian, thanks for making the new thread. I'll sticky that when I get home as well.
All of our new members that I haven't greeted, WELCOME! We are all so happy to have you. Every addition to our ranks is a good addition.
Already existing members, you guys and girls are the best! You are and have been the best team players ever. All this discussion and imagination is incredible. I don't think those of us who started this guild really expected it to snowball this much. I know I didn't expect it to grow this exponentially. So thanks for your input and keep up the awesome work.

Yay! You made the board. I suppose I should fill it in since I made such a fuss about it. I would like to keep it clean and organized. Any suggestions of what all should go in it? Should I copy paste word for word Hrod's original write up?
A thread for each write up the Rings have already submitted?
FAQ? We are still hammering something things out...

Well, I'm thinking we'll want a fresh overview of the rings (some of them have shuffled a bit since Hrod's original writeup). Edit 2: Maybe a good task for the new Guardians, hmm? =P
We probably want a fresh overview of our rank structure once we have it settled. A high level view of guild philosophy (in the vein of the Six River Freedoms) would probably not be amiss either.
Edit: We'll probably want to go into application proceedures as well. We've given good thought to how application will work in-game, but we'll need something until then.

Currently the application process is just make a pro-boards account, am I wrong?
Also, would reps from the other rings be so kind as to post a copy of your Ring intros on the guest thread? I'm not sure what the most up to date versions are. It would also be nice if at least one person from each ring would step up by posting their Paizo forum name if people wanted someone to contact with questions about that ring.

That's the current process. I'm not sure if that's the process we want to use for the full time between now and the launch of the game. Thoughts to consider.

Thoughts are being considered in the Initiate thread. Though I don't think I have interpreted anything definitive about it yet. More FAQs would be great, I just can't think of any that have solid answers at the moment.

The Initiate issue is far from over, but it is getting closer to a consensus, I believe.

We're working it out, slowly but surely and with tons of feedback and rewrites - exactly the way I hoped it would go since Day One.

Leo brought up a great question for the FAQ, but I would like some help scripting it out. How should I phrase a question about what "Thou shall not initiate aggression" really means? And then more so, what is a concise way to answer?

I'll defer to others if they disagree, but my interpretation was as the old saying goes, "I won't start a fight, but I'll surely end it." The Circle and those in it do not believe in initiating or deliberately provoking hostilities or conflict, but are willing to take action to defend themselves, their property, and others from those who would.

"What does "Thou Shallt Not Initiate Agression" or "Thou Shallt not Agress* mean?" "Short Version: Do not attack others, threaten to attack others, commit fraud, or thieve except in response to hostile and violent behavior. You do not have to wait for an enemy to strike you before you strike back, but as a general rule, don't pick a fight. More in-depth answer: It would be helpful first to define the term 'To Agress" Aggression in this case is defined as the initiation of force. So what do those words mean? Initiation: To act without provocation or cause. Force: Four separate actions: the use of violence; the threat of violence; fraudulent dealing; theft of property. Note that the initiation of force is not tolerated by The Circle, not the use of it - if you are defending yourself or another, threatening to attack someone who is behaving violently towards you or someone else, defrauding an enemy in a time of war, or stealing back goods from someone who initially stole them from you, you are NOT committing aggression. These examples are not exhaustive."
Thoughts/additions?
