I witnessed my first TPK in the Mwangi when I watched my husband's group play for the first time. This led to a new campaign that I then joined starting in Katapesh.

Ah Katapesh--one of my favorite countries. Oh, and they have desert elves there!

Is there a region where I can claim to be from a noble family that claims to have Gold dragon blood in their bloodline?

As an elf, or is this for your other character?

As a human sorceress. For my twin, who wants to leave nobility behind and live a simpler life in the Ring of Earth.

Um, wow. Yeah that 100% totally fits. Any suggestion on naming conventions that might be used there? I'm not sure how to find Draconic based surnames. Anyone have a real-world cultural equivalent to suggest?

If you want something less "Tropical island utopia" you've also got some interesting nobility in Brevoy. For reading Hermea

The dragon is named Mengkare, Shepherd of Light and he calls his experiment the "Glorious Endeavor" to perfect the human race. They've always given me sort of a Grecian vibe, so perhaps go with that for names. Here's a link for some quick reading: www.pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/HermeaEDIT: And Dario and I think alike again, with variance being his link goes to the Wikia and mine is the Wiki. Brevoy definitely has some interesting noble families (and related game Traits), with connections to dragons via a pair of reds attacking the region in the past.

Yeah I looked up Hermea when you mentioned it. I kind of really like the tropical island Utopia with the potential of bot being so Utopia-y. If gives more reason to leaving than just not wanting to shoulder responsibility of nobility.
