Greetings and Well Met, I am Hobs, the Guild Master of the Seraphic Commission. One of my Commission's branches deals with our Ambassador Program, which we are still currently putting into operation. Until such time as we have ambassadors in place, I thought I would repay Hroderich's visit to our forums with one of my own. The Empyrean Order is very much interested in establishing ties with like-aligned friends. Even before PFO is available, we would like to encourage interactions between our organizations - shared guild events, the playing of other on-line games, and friendly discussion and camaraderie on our forums at theempyrean.org/. I look forward to further discussions and mutual endeavors. Until then, I bid you prosperity and peace. Hobs

Ser Hobs,
Welcome to our forums! As I indicated previously, we maintain great interest in forming a closer relationship (personal and working) with members of The Empyrean Order. I, at least (and probably several others) would be interested in shared events/gaming/etc before PFO arrives in full force.
May your days be ever longer and each night more pleasant than the last,
~Hroderich Gottfrei

Le me echo my fellow in welcoming The Empyrean Order. The Circle is most assuredly interested in continued discussions with your organization. Please join us in the Chancery if you wish, and feel free to send private messages if you have anything of a less public nature to discuss.

Sir Hobs, It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I foresee a profitable and beneficial future for these two Guilds and I know we are all looking forward to getting to know each other in the coming months. So, as both Hroderich and Erian have already stated... Welcome! ~Leonidas Wahrheit, Guardian of Light

Dear Keepers,
I am writing to tell you that I am no longer with TEO, and as I have explained to Erian earlier (replying to a PM), I am returning to what I know best - working as an independent event planner, plot/story-arc manager, and new player helper. These are the roles I played in Ultima Online for 7 years and I plan to do the same in PFO.
Knowing from experience that a game like PFO will prove most fruitful when we all actively work together, I am looking to network with like-minded players to plan events and plots/story-arcs for our mutual enjoyment. In that I am not affiliated with any particular guild, my hope is that my work in these endeavors will not be held suspect - I have no ulterior motives other than to enrich the PFO community through our efforts.
If you have an event planner as a position/officer in your group or simply a member of the Keepers who would like to collaborate with players from other guilds to these ends, please let me know.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

I know that is something that I would be interested in. Games like this are about the role play for me.

Sounds like a great idea. I too look forward to the rp aspect of the game.

Thank you both for the interest. In an attempt to provide event planners, regardless of guild, a "neutral" ground to discuss, plan, etc., I've set up a little spot on Guild Launch. It comes with forums, a shoutbox, and some storage space. One of the features (click on Gallery and then File Library) is a sample of event templates I've begun writing...sort of "How to" outlines for events to help those with little experience. My hope is that others will write templates to add to the collection for community consumption. If you register for the site, I can add you to the member list so that you have full access. I missed this somehow for the past two days...sorry about that!
This sounds very good to me as well. We haven't had any specific discussions regarding an Event Coordinator position within the KotC. I propose we start a thread to cover this topic, as (I strongly suspect) we'll end up doing this in a more group-oriented approach rather than having a single POC. Should such a topic be here, in the General forum, or elsewhere?

I would almost think general since it would encompass many rings.

That's my inclination as well.

Sounds like a Guild Discussion topic. Might be a good function for the Watcher or Sentinel.

Thank you for the interest. I get the impression that this is something you wish to discuss with your people first. Let me know if there is anything I can do in the interim.

@dario. I do agree that it is a good thing to give someone like the Watcher. Basically acting as overseer of that function with more than likely a subcommittee made up of other Ring members?

I have decided to leave TEO with my primary character (I would like to have both characters here). I just need a way to break the news to TEO so I leave on good terms. Of course this is all assuming you all agree to have me as a full time member rather than being split .
