I started a topic on the Paizo boards as I tend to get annoyed when MMOs make me look young, healthy and good looking. It went down fairly well go take a look if you haven't already seen A Plea For Ugly here - paizo.com/threads/rzs2pe3r?Plea-for-uglyAnd what are your thoughts on the subject? Ruf

I think having a variety of options along the range is a good thing. Maybe I want my sorcerer to have aristocratic noble features and be classically handsome. Maybe I want my rogue to be haggard and scarred from a rough life.

Absolutely, I wasn't suggesting that we all had to look like pox-ridden medevil peasants Ruf

I agree that people should have options as well. Makes it more realistic than all variations on the pretty theme.

Coming from the female perspective, there are some other things it would be nice to take into consideration as well. I would like my character to be a decent archer. That is kind of hard to be when D cups are as small as you can go.

I wouldn't worry too much about that, Nym. If they're using pathfinder inspired art, I don't think Merisiel, Feiya, Reiko, Lirianne, Seelah, Amiri, Kyra, or Lini really qualify as particularly chesty. Seoni, Alahazra, and definitely Imrijka are, but it seems like there's a pretty good range in the source art.

If Hroderich has to look handsome, I will be upset. He's the hideous man-beast with a moderate sized heart, huge appetite, and booming laugh.

Options and variety are always good.
I have my doubts about how much variety GW will be able to offer bodytype-wise (at least in EE), but I do hope for very distinctive facial features at the least.

Yeah I agree but it would be nice if they can make sufficient variation overall that you can actually recognise someone in-game instead of needing to see their name-bubble floating over their head or whatever PFO will use. That has been a failing of all MMOs I've played so far.

I would also like them to have differing facial and body types, but its not high on the list of things I'd like them to work on. If they have distinctive facial features so that no one looks the same, but the crafting system is lacking, or they don't work on mounted combat, or mass combat, that would make me sad. IMO things like this should be on the back burner until the other mechanics are ironed out.
