I would expect a poll for each position that's contested, but that's just my thought.

I'll set up the polls later today, but Dario is correct. We'll have to come up with some more elegant solution for the next set of elections.

Well, depending on periodicity, I'd like to have a proper site up by then, so we're not confined to the forums.

That is my preference as well. We need to start leveraging people with expertise on developing web pages. No one wants their drunken half-orc to do it.

Alright, after a misunderstanding about the positions and not properly differentiating between circle and ring I think I finally understand what is going on. I agree with and support the nominations thus far. I am planning to work on a graphical representation of the circle, rings, and positions for those of us that are visual learners if it has not been done so already.

If we *want* a contested position in order to demonstrate our democratic intentions, I would happy to stand as an alternative crystal candidate. We should have regular re-elections too? Allow us to get rid of the corrupt and incompetent leadership Ruf

We will have periodic reelection windows. We haven't quite settled on when they'll be, but I think our current intent is to stagger the windows so not everyone is up at once.

Yep if there is a complete turnover it could cause chaos so staggered seems reasonable.

Wow, I just realized how much that sounded like one of the "Probably, we don't know yet." answers from the GW crew. =P

Ugh. GW. That's probably my favorite answer from them. Ever.
I completely agree with you, Dario, on everything you've said thus far.

Alright, it looks like I can only attach one image per post, so I'll be double posting. The first is how I am picturing the hierarchy. Let me know if this is correct or not. I used a vector graphics program first, then exported, so if there are any errors it will be easy to change and resubmit. Once elections are finalized I'll add in the names of the elected positions and we can spruce it up a bit and use it to keep official track of who is in what position. Attachments:
